EXTERIOR SITE CLEANING - DAILY LITTER PICKUP
COLLINGWOOD, ON

The contractor shall perform the work as listed below in accordance with the provisions of the hereto- attached “Service Contract”.

All work as described below is to be performed between 5:00 a.m. (Ontario)/6:00 a.m. (Western Canada) and 8:00 a.m. (or prior to store opening) subject to applicable municipal by-laws which may prevent some types of maintenance at certain hours. Service to be performed 7 days a week. Litter is defined as the following but not limited to:

– flyers / news paper
– plastic bags
– leaves
– cigarette butts
– bottles / cans
– empty takeout food containers
– food waste
– Biohazardous waste (needles)

• Remove all garbage from the site within the property line, including but not limited to:

– all parking areas
– driveways
– sidewalks
– curbs
– receiving areas
– lawns
– shrub beds and flower beds
– cart corrals
– compactor area (excludes BC)
– gas bars (as applicable)

• Remove and replace filled garbage bags from garbage receptacles at the front of the building, cart corrals, underground garages (if applicable) and sweep receptacle area.
(excludes gas bar garbage receptacles)

• Dump all garbage off site.

• Report any damage to the property or any garbage collection problems to the Regional Maintenance Manager.

Notes:
• Authorization for extra work to be approved by the Regional Maintenance Manager only. Unauthorized work will not be paid.

• The contractor is responsible for all his equipment and supplies and will not store on site.

• Contractor to provide any additional lighting if needed.

• Provide work schedule to Regional Maintenance Managers.

• Remove all litter and/or garbage on vacant property next to our retail site as requested (contractor to provide an hourly rate).

• Biohazardous Waste – Personnel shall be trained to properly handle and dispose of biohazardous waste specifically needles as required. Needles shall be placed into a sharps container and given to an agency qualified to dispose of them.
